2006 Season

April 14th we won the feature at the Marshalltown Speedway.

Kyle has been racing at Marshalltown and his progression has been really good. His first finish May 5th was 9th place as the first three weeks he had not finished the feature.

May 19th We had a very good race as we started 20th and finished 5th.Kyle started 18th and finished 11th in another good finish in the Sport Mod.

May 26th Marshalltown was a good night of racing. We finished 10th in the feature and Kyle finished 7th in the Sport Mod.

May 30th We went to Boone for the Super Nationals warm up. We started 26th in the feature and finished 14th.

June 2 at Marshalltown was good and bad as we were in 5th but had a center link on the steering break. This sent us up the track towards the turn 4 wall but we did not receive much damage. Kyle raced the Sport Mod and ran real well as he lead the first 7 laps. He had some trouble on the backstretch and did not finish.

June 3rd we raced at Boone and finished 3rd in the heat race and 5th in the feature.

Kyle raced the Sport Mod on Sunday at Stuart, lead the heat race for 5 laps, finished 2nd in the heat race and 4th in the feature.

June 9th at Marshalltown we ran well and finished 2nd on a dry slick track in my heat race and we finished 3rd in the feature. Kyle lead several laps in his heat race until he had a push in turn three. He finished 14th in his feature.

June 11th we went with Kyle's Sport Mod to Stuart to have some fun. He ran well in his heat and finished  3rd. He finished 6th in the feature.

June 16th we finished 4th in the feature at Marshalltown.

June 23rd we did not finish the feature at Marshalltown as a torque arm spring came out after I ran over something on the racetrack.

Marshalltown June 26th Kyle ran good until the driveshaft broke.

June 27th we finished 10th after having to go to the back of the feature after being spun out.

June 30th Kyle lead all of the race until the last lap. He finished 2nd but was too light on the scales. The modified ran well as we finished 7th.

Boone on July 1st we finished 3rd in the heat race and the feature we finished 8th.

July 7th at Marshalltown we finished 4th in the heat race and 3rd in the feature. Kyle broke the transmission at the start of the Sport Mod heat race.

July 14th at Marshalltown we blew an engine in hot laps. Kyle broke a rear end gear in the feature on the last corner but managed to cross the finish line in 7th.

July 21st at Marshalltown I had a fuel pump break and we finished 10th with low fuel pressure. Kyle broke a rear end gear in the heat race.

July 28th at Marshalltown I finished 6th in the feature and Kyle finished 11th.

August 4th at Marshalltown we were running 3rd and I had a distributor fail. 

August 15th at Marshalltown Kyle finished 5th in the feature.

August 16th Kyle ran his first event at the Boone Speedway. Started 8th in the heat race and finished 4th.

August 25th at Marshalltown we finished 4th in our heat race and 7th in the feature.

September 1st in the season championship at the Marshalltown Speedway we finished 6th.

At the Boone Super Nationals we ran real well every night finishing in the B Main. 

We finished 6th in the points at Marshalltown Speedway and Kyle finished 10th in the Sport Mod.
