Our Mission
Statement:
Our goal is to investigate paranormal phenomenon in a professional manner to either tangibly prove or disprove it's occurrence. We do not currently have an active investigation team at the moment, as many members have moved, or are unable to participate. But, we will try to answer questions by e-mail when possible, {Please note that one person gets & handles all the e-mail, & answering all letters is not always possible! Be patient, & don't take it personally.} , and by providing information on this web site. Our services are always free of charge. We hope to help the public better understand the nature of supernatural phenomena. C.I.G.H.T. wants to let those people who are experiencing this type of phenomena know that they are not alone.

Yes, it has been a looooong time! But the lives of the living have a way
of taking priority over the happenings of the dead. That's, well,
.....LIFE! Many changes and challenges have occurred since
this site started. New jobs, people moving away or heading off to
college, illness, stress, new interests, family crisis, too many projects
to finish, etc. I'm sure many of you can relate to this.
Invariably, something has to be put aside to handle the big priorities.
This web site, and the tons of e-mail for it, has 'taken the fall' for the sake
of sanity. I apologize to our loyal and new visitors.
While I still may not have the time to devote like I used to, I am hoping to get things stirred up again here. I want this web site to once more be a fun place to 'haunt' ! I have been saving up letters and answers to post. Be patient, tho, it's just one person doing the web site and e-mail answering. I can't answer every e-mail, but, I will try to help when I can. Right now I am working on the technical aspects of the web site, such as fixing broken links, correcting mistakes, etc. I have updated the Moon Phase Calendars & added a couple of links!
We no longer have an 'active' investigating team, but I can still contact the members for their feedback when needed. Hopefully, in the future, time and member location will permit us to get an active team going again.

Submitting "Experiences":
We love to have people share their TRUE paranormal experiences with us. The stories we receive give everyone some new information to study, & sometimes another person may friend comfort from knowing that others have had similar experiences to their own.
Not everybody remembers to make a specific notation that we CAN use their story on the site, so please assume that you are giving permission by submitting the story to us. We will not reveal any personal information such as last names, or usually even towns, unless express consent is given to do so. If you wish to write to us for advice only & DO NOT want your story to be shared- PLEASE STATE CLEARLY IN YOUR E-MAIL THAT YOU DO NOT WANT THE STORY PUBLISHED. Certain private letters may have their questions or situations answered on the site, but only in a very general, impersonalized manner. This is because sometimes we get more than one person asking us questions about similar things, & this provides us with a way to help many people at once.

Our Team usually consists of 8 Investigators who share a common, serious interest in ghosts & spirits. We usually work in groups of 2 to 6. Most of our Investigators have experienced some form of haunting themselves during their lives. A couple of our Investigators have had the good fortune to explore haunted locations all over the United States, & even in other countries!
When we do an Investigation we collect information using cameras, E.M.F. detectors, video & sound recorders, motion detectors, dowsing rods, & thermal sensors. Some of our investigators are also psychically sensitive. Our goal is to document, & if possible, provide tangible proof of a haunting, not banish it.
We can also provide information on how to deal with a haunting. Many of our investigators, having experienced living with ghosts or spirits, understand what you may be going through.

LONG CLIP OF THE HAMPTON COURT GHOST
{We leave the validity of this clip up to you - it has never been settled one way or another to my satisfaction. I do occasionally get people saying that it is a hoax- & they were behind it, of course! But, these reports are too varied to take seriously either. Is Hampton Court haunted? I would say yes, too many centuries of reports for it all to be a hoax. Tho, I'm sure there were occasionally some embellished stories thru all those years. Still, it's history makes it likely candidate for hauntings. This clip was recorded on the castle's security cam, and was released by Hampton Court. I would like to think they checked out 'natural causes' before releasing something like this to the public. But, we may never know for sure. In the meantime, it is a very interesting thing to ponder!}
